"VINTAGE BRASS" ADDED TO THE WIND SYMPHONY "LINEUP"
Since rejoining the Wind Symphony Tuba Section, Dr. Fred Feinsod has introduced members of the brass section to an "old but new" form of music...the performance of historical brass literature performed on vintage brass instruments. Dr. Feinsod, a Geriatrician of the Pikes Peak area, has over the years collected and maintained authentic brass instruments which he stores in his beautiful home in Colorado Springs.
On July 4 in the new pavilion in Woodland Park, the "Vintage Brass" will makes its debut performance when it shares a special July 4 Pavilion Concert On The Green presented by the Woodland Park Wind Symphony.
July 7 and 8, the Vintage Brass Band made a special appearance at the Chautauqua vintage weekend presented by the Historical Society of Palmer lake, Colorado. (See Photo)
